— Stage to Screen

Theatre taught me to sell.

— Origin

Shakespeare in Love at Pearce — recognized as the Best Production in the U.S.

Years of theatre, improv, and choir taught me how to read a room, hold attention, and respond on my feet.

— Still doing it

Recently appeared on Taylor Sheridan's Landman (Paramount+, 2025).

Background role across multiple episodes. Same instincts as the Pearce stage — show up, do the work.

— Why it matters

Improv is just sales without a script.

Acting gave me the muscle for cold calls, live demos, pitching execs, and reading buying signals. Every meeting is a scene.

Entrepreneurial since middle school. Two businesses, one self-taught coding journey, and a lifetime of figuring it out.

— Hustle 01

$7 → eBay phone empire.

In middle school I bought beat-up cell phones on eBay, cleaned them up with better lighting, photo editing, and a careful eye — then flipped them for serious margins.

Started with $7 in my pocket. Eventually shut it down — turns out asking your mom to drive to the post office every day doesn't scale.

— Hustle 02

Minecraft server, YouTube growth.

Built a Minecraft server, advertised it through YouTube videos, and sold in-game items. Cheap to run, high margins, real revenue.

Taught myself to code along the way — hundreds of plugins, logins, in-game transactions, server design. The first time I really shipped software.

"Worked through every summer of high school. Worked through every semester of college. Entrepreneurial in spirit, always."

— About · Off the clock

Thomas Harden headshot

I'm Thomas — a senior account executive at Impac Fleet by day, founder of The Sideline at all other hours, and a husband + dog dad in downtown Dallas.

I live with my wife Cassidy and our Siberian Husky Athena. I believe there's always a better way to do things — whether that's automating a marketing workflow or keeping my balcony garden alive in the Dallas heat.

Entrepreneurial since age 12. Self-taught, self-funded through college, and still figuring out the next thing. In middle school, I built a Minecraft game server that generated tens of thousands in revenue with thousands of active players and thriving communities. Then came the chargeback scheme: a single player purchased nearly $10,000 in virtual items over months, and then requested a refund on all of it. PayPal not only reversed the charges but hit me with $7,000 in additional fraud fees—effectively bankrupting me at 14. When Minecraft later made it technically impossible to host independent servers on that platform, the community dissolved. That experience taught me more about business, resilience, and risk than any classroom ever could.
